Six years ago, at the age of 63, Robin Williams, one of the world's most talented comedians, killed himself. Robin was best known for his ability to make us laugh through his stand-up comedy and movies. He cheered on our sick and our troops and was loved and adored by millions. He lived the American Dream.
The 2020 documentary, Robin’s Wishes, sets the record straight about the journey that led to the actors’s death. The documentary explored the effects of the neurological disorder, Lewy Body Dementia, that claimed his mind and body. Sadly, Robin was not diagnosed prior to his death and only through his wife and closest friends are we able to understand just what Robin’s last days were like.
